About my Photography

Everybody has a different story, a special smile and a unique way of expressing themselves. My passion is people & telling each person’s story with my photography. I have found that when you are comfortable with your photographer, you will reveal more of yourself to them and thus, your photos will authentically reflect the heart of who you are. As a photographer, I cherish our shared connection. I offer flexibility, support open-communication and present professional results, while having fun! With a photojournalistic style and a creative eye, I will find that which

is one-of-a-kind and highlight the features that are ageless. As the saying goes,” a picture is worth a thousand words;” so let me tell your story, your way…with polish, personality and passion.

As for a little about myself,

I have dabbled in the arts for most of my life, starting with drawing and painting. At the age of nine my parents entrusted me a camera on a family vacation and from that point on I was hooked. I’m a shutterbug; always behind the lens, occasionally in front of it. Over a decade later, I’m still at it with some formal education, but most of what I know I’ve taught myself.

My name is Coleen. I am a 22 year-old Colorado native. I have lived in Arvada for the majority of my life, but have traveled most of our fair state. I currently live in my own town home in Westminster, CO. As the oldest sibling of three, with two younger brothers, I tend to be very independent and a bit of a tomboy. I have a deep love for music, second only to my love of photography. I have played many instruments, including the piano, trombone and bass. I am an absolute live music junkie. I love watching sports, curling up with a good book, exploring the various Brewpubs in Colorado & traveling the world. I enjoy learning new things and do so very quickly. My family and friends are very important in my life, and am sure to prioritize them as such.
